UNIVERSAL MONSTERS COLLECTOR SERIES CONTINUES WITH THE MONTEGRAPPA DRACULA
Following the storming debut of Frankenstein L.E., the Universal Monsters series continues with another legend of horror cinema. Created to mark the 95th anniversary of Tod Browning’s 1931 masterpiece, Dracula L.E. celebrates one of the most enduring icons of horror and the motion picture that defined an era. The Count’s immortal presence is channelled through lost-wax silverwork, deep crimson acrylics and intricate staging that recalls the atmosphere of vintage Hollywood. Bela Lugosi’s hypnotic gaze and the movie’s brooding gothic sets remain cultural touchstones–now reborn in a writing instrument designed to enchant and disturb in equal measure.
Limited to 135 fountain pens and 135 rollerballs are brought to life through artisanal lost-wax casting, crimson lacquers and riveted textures that echo the ancient walls of Dracula’s castle. Upon the cap, the pocket clip assumes the form of a winged creature of the night: a spectacular lost-wax bat, clinging upside down, poised for flight.
Each pen is housed in a lacquered wooden chest, complete with engraved plaque, custom Dracula Red ink bottle, eyedropper and cleaning cloth–accessories tailored to the edition’s theatrical staging.

Figures like Dracula, The Mummy and Frankenstein transformed fear into fascination, and their portrayal on screen created archetypes and narratives that continue to shape the collective imagination.
