DOXA PRESENTS THE SUB 300 CLIVE CUSSLER Ti5

DOXA celebrates the legacy of acclaimed author, explorer and NUMA founder Clive Cussler with the launch of the SUB 300 Ti5 "Clive Cussler", unveiled on what would have been his 95th birthday. Inspired by the original 1967 SUB 300, the watch, famously worn by Cussler's fictional hero, Dirk Pitt, this limited edition watch pays tribute to a long standing relationship between the Cussler family and the brand. Limited to 300 numbered pieces, the watch will be available on DOXA's website and, for the first time, through authorised retailers.

The SUB 300 Ti5 marks the return of Grade 5 titanium to the DOXA collection, offering exceptional strength, lightness and corrosion resistance. It also introduces an all-new dual-plane dial architecture, with two layered titanium dials creating a striking sense of depth while maintaining the outstanding legibility that defines the SUB collection. Powered by a COSC-certified Swiss automatic movement and water-resistant to 300 metres, the watch retains the core characteristics that made the original SUB 300 a benchmark in dive watch design.

Distinctive details honour Clive Cussler throughout the watch, including DOXA orange accents on the oversized minute hand, bezel and the date numerals 15, 7 and 31, representing his birth date. The Grade 5 titanium caseback features the NUMA emblem, individual numbering and COSC certification, while a vintage-inspired black Dive Flex rubber strap completes the design. Combining technical innovation with meaningful storytelling, the edition reflects both DOXA's diving heritage and Cussler's lifelong passion for exploration.

Continuing that legacy beyond the watch itself, DOXA will donate part of the proceeds from each sale to NUMA (National Underwater and Marine Agency), the organisation founded by Clive Cussler to locate and preserve historically significant shipwrecks.
