Junghans’ designers have created a robust stainless-steel case for the latest Meister S that features striking details like the alternating black PVD-coated and silver-coloured as well as polished and satin-finished surfaces, giving the case a dynamic presence, and its diameter of just over 44 millimetres reinforces its striking appearance. This sporty timepiece is pressure-resistant to 20 bar – meaning it remains water-resistant to a depth of 200 meters – which is ensured by the carefully sealed steel case back featuring a Junghans star motif and secured by seven screws as well as the screw-down crown flanked by two protective guards.
Contemporary and reliable
Contemporary design is one thing; this watch’s unwavering reliability is another. Inside the tough shell lies a precise core – just as one would expect from Junghans: reliable automatic Calibre J800.4 with a power reserve of 38 hours powers the watch. In addition to the time, this movement displays the date in orange and the day of the week in white. The domed dial is meticulously crafted with individually applied indices coated in eco-friendly luminous material that is also applied to the orange hour and minute hands, ensuring excellent readability even in the dark. An antireflective, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal stretches over the dial.
