Uhrenfabrik Junghans will begin the new year in sporty fashion as sponsor for timing at the 52nd FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Seefeld, Austria and the 48th FIL Luge World Cup in Winterberg, Germany. The CEO of Junghans Matthias Stotz explains “As a company hailing from the Black Forest, a region steeped in the tradition of winter sports, we are extremely happy to be given the opportunity of supporting the World Championships”.
In recognition of the world championships, Junghans will unveil a limited, special sporty edition: the WM-Edition 1972 Chronoscope Quartz.
Themed around the 52nd World Championships of the FIS, the official WM-Edition of the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2019 is limited to precisely 52 units. The colour scheme of the watch follows the logo of the winter sport event and exhibits the colours red, light blue and white in the strap and the dial. The emblem of the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships is engraved on the back of the case as an enduring memory.
